My Private Life Determines My Public Life

"Order in the House: Reflecting God's Authority and Grace in Families" - take a moment to reflect on this.

The past weeks, we have brought understanding to the church congregation, what God means when speak fo the church and that the health of the church is determined by the health of every individual household. The gathering of the households, is called the church.

“We should never allow the meeting place to become more important than the people who are coming together."

The word family means "Father's House".

This means that the head of the every household must lead with by example and with integrity, wisdom, and love—just as Christ leads the Church. Order in the house reflects the alignment and positioning of the family under God's authority.

The first house, is your own persona life, hosting the Holy Spirit.
The second house is your marriage and family, a picture of the relationship Christ wants to have with His people.
The third house is the “corporate gathering of households": What we call the church of God. The gathering of believers.

This order allows the flow of blessings, favor, and grace to be evident within the household. Just as each individual believer is a temple of God, each household serves as a spiritual unit under God's authority. This means that every decision, action, and attitude within the household should be aligned with God's Word and His will.

Therefore, when households come together as part of the larger community of believers, the house of God is established, reflecting unity, love, and holiness. Remember, just as the Kingdom is in order, the city has order, and families (households) also need to be in order for God's blessings to flow and for His glory to manifest. God's glory is his character and presence. This is and should reflect in our daily lives.
